CHANTING:
Sabha is requesting those conversant to chant the Vishnu Sahasranama Stothram to participate in the event from their homes. Whomsoever in the house can chant this Stothram can register their participation by providing details such as name, email ID, contact mobile number, number of chanters in the house who’ll join the chanting and number of aavarthis that one will participate. Ideally, Sabha would like all of them to join at the beginning and be with us until the end.
Virtual Chanters:
Prior to the event date, registered chanters will be provided with a Zoom link. Chanters participate in the chanting by clicking on the Zoom link and following the instructions. The audio of the chanters will always be muted. Option to mute the video is left to the chanters. The event admin has the ability to include the video of chanters in a loop for broadcast on YouTube. Only chantings of those who have signed into the event through the Zoom link will be counted to the goal of one crore namas. When the chanter wishes to log out of the event, they should provide the following information into the system: Registration ID, No. of persons who participated in the chant, No. of aavarthis chanted.
Event organizers will be doing a participant count after every aavarthi to keep track of the number of chanters
CHANTING FORMAT:
“First Aavarthi: Starting from the beginning until ‘Vanamali..’ Will be chanted.
Second Aavarthi onwards: From the second Aavarthi, only the Sahasranamam commencing at “ Vishwam… “ till “ Vanamali…” will be chanted.
End of each Aavarthi: The sloka “Sri Rama Rama Ramethi …” will be chanted thrice and Loka Samastha Sukino Bhavanthu once.
Final Aavarthi: Phalashruti will be chanted. (Final Aavarthi will be decided on the proximity to the goal of 1 crore namas).”
